This lower shift cable is for MerCruiser Bravo stern drives. These cables are built for long life and maximum performance in all weather conditions to below zero Fahrenheit. Shift cable cannot be repaired, only replaced.

This cable is responsible for transmitting the shift motion from the throttle and shift lever to the lower unit, allowing for the engagement of forward, neutral, and reverse gears in the drive system. It ensure smooth, responsive shifting, which is critical for safe and efficient boat operation.
